E.D.A.R. Llerena (BADAJOZ)

The Consortium for Environmental Management of the Province of Badajoz has performed at the treatment plant Llerena (Badajoz), the first experience of wastewater reuse Extremadura. The main beneficiaries of this system will be the city of Llerena and other groups or persons authorized by the municipality in washdown streets, fire services, industrial cleaning and dilution vehicle protection products.

The cooling system water treatment plant implemented in Llerena is based on a filter installed in the outlet chamber of the plant, which is responsible for separating water from any substance not fit for its intended purpose. After this process the filtered water is stored in a tank 25.000L which adds to the amount of chlorine needed to disinfect properly, all controlled by automated Average. Finally, a pressure group is responsible for sending the reclaimed water from the reservoir to the water intake located at the entrance to the wastewater treatment plant, a place from which to load the authorized mobile devices.
